It is a WorkSafe requirement for all Trainees to be registered with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) so they can log operating hours on the job. Separate logbooks are required for each High Risk Work License Class.

Registering for a Logbook is Easy!

To register for training with MTAG, simply download the Logbook Enrolment form below, complete and return it to the address noted on the form, along with your identification.

MTAG will register you for training and send you a logbook specific for your class of High Risk Work Licence. Upon registering with MTAG a portion of a Trainee’s on the job training is conducted using MTAG’s logbooks.

The logbooks must be completed with:

• The Class of license
• The type of machine, duration and date of operation.
• The name of the person directly supervising (a WorkSafe High Risk Work Licence Holder)
• The High Risk Work Licence Ticket holder, WorkSafe Licence No. and signature after each training session.

NB: Trainer must hold class of licence they are supervising and must be in close proximity to trainee during training
