MTAG is a nationally and internationally Registered Training Organisation (RTO). MTAG is Australian owned and run by experienced people who have worked in the Mining, Construction and Offshore industries for over 3 decades. Our courses are nationally recognised and industry endorsed.

MTAG prides itself by having a genuine interest in individuals and their needs. We have carefully structured our courses to minimise time off work, taking into account family needs, shift workers and encourage people of all ages who are interested in benefiting from this growth industry. MTAG is approved by BHPBIO, Woodside Energy and Chevron.

All of our Trainers/Assessors are experienced maritime personnel with extensive background in offshore operations and have the relevant Marine and Offshore qualifications including:

• STCW ’95:  Standard of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers
• BOSIET: Basic Offshore Induction and Emergency Training Cold Water, “OPITO” approved
• HUET: Helicopter Underwater Emergency Training
• MSIC:  Maritime Security Identification Card
• AMSA: Australian Maritime Safety Authority Medical
• Cert IV TAA: Workplace Training/Training and Assessment
• Hold a Certificate of registration as a “High Risk Work Licence Assessor” for WorkSafe.
